Namib Trail
NAMIBIA
Hills and valleys of sand stretching as far as the eye can see in all directions…The Namib desert isn’t heaven but it’s damn close. Starting in Namibia’s Erongo bushveld, we traverse the formidable desert plains en route to the coastal town of Swakopmund. Free-camping brings us to legendary locations like Spitzkoppe and the Khan River. The bustle of the city is a million miles away as we soak in spectacular African sunsets and bask in the starlight of a milky way uncorrupted by light pollution. Keep a sharp eye out for the elusive desert wildlife, like the iconic oryx antelope or the sly brown hyena. As we conclude our trip in Swakopmund, enjoy the feast of a traditional meal to reward your tired muscles.
